I have to make a significant change to the goal system in order to accomodate duties, planning, and dates. I am doing so, but I'm not sure how long it will take. If I am brilliant, it could take a day. If I'm not so brilliant, a week.

Hey are you going to GDC this year?
Sure, the minute someone gives me $2000. Otherwise, it's a no-go.
Which is a shame, since many of my friends are going, and some are speakers.
Damn, I was just thinking of doing that "Stratchware Autuers" article as a five-way discussion between me, you, Bateman, Healey and Siri (man behind Utopia and proprieter of GamesAreArt). I really wanted to have the lot of you in person, for a better discourse. Thats alot of intelligence and creativity in one room. Maybe you could join us by video phone?
BTW, you should definetly come out to Phrontisterion, especially now that you've moved into expressive AI with your hackers. If you bring some camping gear the whole deal would run you just the airfare and the $75 fee.
I'm sorry, I'm exceptionally money-cautious at the moment. I don't have any camping gear: I travel light, so I don't even own any furniture, let alone something like camping gear.
I don't know where Phrontisterion is, but it would probably cost at least $500, what with travel and hotel. Cheaper than GDC, but still nerve-wrackingly expensive for me at this exact moment in time.
As mentioned, I don't really own much. I don't have any kind of webcam to join you on. If you would like to talk to me "live", it would probably be easiest to catch me on AIM: I'm on whenever I remember it exists, and my handle is AlmostNoble. I do type extraordinarily fast.
I also try to attend Boston Postmortems, but I imagine they might be a touch difficult for you to get to. :)
Given that it's a $400 flight away, HMH would have to prove actually profitable. I'll do my best.
Well if my GDC plans don't work out I may resort to IRC chat between multiple parties.
As for the Phront, its going to happen in Oct in SoCal, so if your work on HMH goes well you may be able to swing that by then AND have a notworthy storytelling precedent to represent.
